The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) extended on Sunday its congratulations to all Syrians following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
In a formal statement, the AANES acknowledged the significance of this moment, expressing its hopes for a new chapter in Syria.
Ilham Ahmed, co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department of the AANES, declared that the era of tyranny has ended, calling to unite the efforts of Syrians for a better future founded on justice and democracy.
The AANES stressed that they made every effort during the years of the crisis to find peaceful solutions to Syria’s challenges, but the Syrian regime did not respond to these initiatives, the statement read.
The AANES reiterated its commitment to constructive dialogue, calling on all Syrian parties to collaborate in shaping the country’s future.
