Updates from the SDF Operation Martir Aziz Arab to recover Manbij

The forces of Manbij Military Council successfully thwarted this morning an attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam. Following that, our forces initiated a comb operation in several villages near the Dam, which were used as springboard for mercenaries’ attacks on our forces. The comb operation is currently underway with significant progress amid a state of confusion in the ranks of the mercenaries.

In the vicinity of the Qara Qwzaq Bridge and on the western bank of the Euphrates River, our forces successfully destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the Turkish occupation mercenaries.

The forces of Manbij Military Council have initiated a combing operation in the hills and villages surrounding the Tishreen Dam amid the advancement of the forces across multiple fronts, resulting in the capture of several sites previously utilized by Turkish occupation mercenaries in their attacks on the dam.

The forces of the Manbij Military Council begin a counterattack on the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the villages surrounding the Tishreen Dam. Many military vehicles belonging to the mercenaries were destroyed and dozens of them were eliminated. The counterattack of our forces continues amid a state of fear and confusion among the mercenaries.

During the counterattack conducted this morning by the forces of the Manbij Military Council in the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam, our forces seized ten bodies of eliminated Turkish occupation mercenaries, captured one mercenary, and destroyed five military vehicles belonging to the Turkish occupation mercenaries. The counterattack is still ongoing across multiple axes.

The campaign of the Martyr Aziz Arab Manbij continues with full force, and the forces are advancing in several axes in the eastern countryside of Manbij amid a collapse in the ranks of mercenaries.

In the presence of officials from the international coalition, a meeting was convened between General Mazloum Abdi, SDF Commander-in-Chief, and the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria to discuss the establishment of a unified Kurdish stance in the new Syria. It was agreed on the importance of continuing meetings quickly to resolve contentious issues.

Today, Monday, our SDF forces repelled an attempted infiltration and attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the village of al-Alia, west of Tal Tamir town. Clashes erupted with the attacker mercenaries resulting in three mercenaries were eliminated, two others were wounded, and a military vehicle equipped with a DShk machine gun was destroyed.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are trying to ignite all fronts, in an attempt to relieve pressure on themselves in the fronts of the Tishreen Dam and Qara Qwzaq Bridge.

The SDF remains vigilant and will resolutely respond to any aggression aimed at the security of northern and eastern Syria.

The Raqqa Military Council successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by the Turkish occupation mercenaries on the village of um al-Baramil, east of Ain Issa. Two Turkish occupation mercenaries were eliminated.
